When your boat is ready for sailing, take an American Sailing Association or
U.S. Sailing Basic Sailing course; look for a local sailing club. Or make a
vacation of it and see the San Francisco area for a few days and I'll give
you the name of a great sailing club that offers lessons.
What you will learn in that weekend of messing about in boats and the
classroom will be priceless!
Then go out and sail the hell out of your boat.
