While I don't believe Jesus was the first true liberal, he certainly was
a raging liberal.
He wasn't a raging liberal. If he was then he have been giving out fish
instead of teaching people to fish to feed themselves.
Have you read the bible and do you know the teachings of Jesus. He
preached patience and kindness and generosity and taking care of your
brethren.
You somehow think that fits into the "pull yourself up by the
bootstraps" conservative mantra? He'd have been for equal schooling and
opportunity for all, not the spoils system the Republicans endorse.
The fact that "conservatives" think he would agree with their politics
is beyond laughable, it's sad.
