When some African Americans rioted after the Rodney King situation, did
you hold all African Americans responsible?

When Timothy McVeigh blew up the OKC office building, did you hold all
Irish Americans responsible?

If the answers to those items are both "no", then surely there would be
no tendency to condemn Islam in general for the anti-social actions of
a small percentage of Muslims.

Besides, any defense would be wasted on somebody who thought (or
attempted to think) in such broad stereotypes that he/she held all of
Islam responsible for the actions of a few.
