and popular opinion of the time, but what was his logic and point if and

he was, at one time, trying to show the jews that protestants were so
forgiving of jews that they wouldn't hold it against them that they
killed christ...when he saw they weren't gonna convert he then became
convinced they shouldn't be around...

I agree with your position, it is up to the judicial branch to interpret the
laws and that is what the founding fathers expected from the judicial branch
of government. I think what OBE was trying to say (but it is hard to tell)
is the judicial branch should not be legislating laws from the bench.

My point, and you see it way to often in rec.boats, is whenever someone
disagree they call the other party a liar. If the person believes what he
is saying, it doesn't matter how stupid or incorrect the assumption is, he
is not a liar.

The last numbers I saw had about 34% of the country calling themselves
conservative, only 21% libral......
The finish line is a lot closer for conservatives.....and with people like
harry out there, the finish line gets closer and closer for the
conservatives. All the name calling in the world will not chnage that.
