nk.net... Where did you read where I said that I love war? It's evident in your choice of words when you discuss it. You appear to relish the idea. |

You appear to relish the idea. I really abhor war, but war was declared on us in 1996. There are a number of countries in the Muslim world that use mercenaries in the form of terrorists to wage a clandestine war against Western countries and Israel. In 2001, that war reached the pinnacle of ruthlessness with the attack on the WTC. It's a war that's been raging for over 4 years now, and it's a war that we're winning. But one of the obstacles to winning that war is the Iranian and Syrian support for the terrorists attacking Israel, and the terrorists attacking US and Iraqi troops in Iraq. So, yes, the notion of an Israeli attack on one of the region's biggest supporters of terrorism certainly appeals to me. But that's a far cry from "loving war". |

It's not smart for a head of state that is pursuing nuclear weapons to talk publicly about wiping Israel from the map. If I were Israel, those words could make a strong enough case for pre-emptive nuclear attack against Iran. B-b-b-b-b-b-ut - Israel doesn't have a nuclear program according to their gubmit. I don't think Israel's government ever said that they don't have nukes. They're intentionally evasive when asked about the matter. |

If I were Israel, those words could make a strong enough case for pre-emptive nuclear attack against Iran. washingtonpost.com World Expresses Dismay Over Iran Remarks By JILL LAWLESS The Associated Press Thursday, October 27, 2005; 10:38 AM LONDON -- Governments around the world expressed shock and scorn Thursday at the Iranian president's call for Israel to be "wiped off the map," and several summoned Tehran's envoys in their capitals for a reprimand. However, Israeli calls for Iran to be expelled from the United Nations over the remarks by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were not immediately taken up by other nations. In a speech Wednesday, Ahmadinejad denounced Israel and said a new wave of Palestinian attacks "will wipe this stigma from the face of the Islamic world." Citing the words of the founder of Iran's Islamic revolution, the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Ahmadinejad said: "Israel must be wiped off the map." Are you suggesting that what was said was a quote, and is being spun out of context? I haven't read the actual transcript, so I am vulnerable to the yellow press. Terry K |

Guess your wife won't get any tonight after you read that and shot down your leg. If you love war so damned much, why didn't you enlist? If you'd have gone to war and got wounded like so many have in Iraq, you might not feel the same way. Where did you read where I said that I love war? If you don't why do you jump with glee like a giddy school girl every time something like that comes up? |
