Hey everybody...
Got a question on Fish Hawk boats. I have a friend who has a real hot deal on a brand new 2002 230 center console Fish Hawk. Supposedly, these are actually a Hydra-Sports used by Bombardier to introduce they "new" (read revamped/reengineered) Johnsons/Evinrudes. Any truth to this? I've looked through the Hydra-Sports site and their 230 looks a lot like this boat, but I don't know - ain't never heard tell of no Fish Hawk. Also, on a demo ride, I noticed that the engine bracket is very low on the transom - under a fact idle, the engine is buried right up to the cowl - this doesn't seem like such a great idea to me. Any comments on that? Later, Tom S. Woodstock, CT ----------- "Angling may be said to be so like the mathematics that it can never be fully learnt..." Izaak Walton "The Compleat Angler", 1653 |
