A "somple mind" is one that can't figure out that it should have read
"simple mind" without asking in a newsgroup forum. It applies to boating
because Harry thinks us boat'n types need lessons from him in who to vote
for. (We're Somple-Minded)

Oh gee, I get it. I guess a somple mind would also apply to someone who
doesn't recognize a toungue in cheek jab, and actually goes to the trouble
