Default storing the boat

Hello,

We have a 2004 18' Sea Ray Sport, only has 15 hours in it, still under break
in period. Do I have to do anything to the engine if we want to store the
boat in our garage until September. We are in Las Vegas and is extremely
hot to do boating in the summer desert heat. Some one told me I have to
fill up the tank and put gas stabilizer treatment in the gas tank. Is it
nescessay if only storing it for a couple of months? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
David

No reason to. You are in a low humidity area so moisture absorbion into the
fuel will not be an issue (reason for filling the tank) and since the fuel
in the carb (assuming your engine has one) will evaporate quickly so should
not have a varnish issue.
