I've heard rumor that there is an oil that produces less smoke. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, TT Yep, switching over from OMC oil to Quicksilver Premium reduced the smoking from my Johnson 200 significantly. READ THE QUESTION, dimbulb. The poster wanted an oil that produces less smoke than what he currently uses, which is Quicksilver Premium. I don't see how telling him to use the oil he already uses will result in reduced smoke. Ding, Ding, Ding! Kevin Noble, you're right for a change! I read the original post incorrectly. To Tom- I think you're already using one of the lowest smoking two-stroke oils available. I've tried all of the major brands and in my experience the Quicksilver Premium smokes the least of them all (even less than the synthetics). |
