Allegedly, he perished in the sea of Cortez. Ran out of fuel (3 hours into the
trip) and suffered a leaking bilge and inoperable pump. His trailer vehicle (a faded red 1982 Ford F150) was found, but scrapped due to its condition from thousands of miles dragging a water logged BL'er to the closest boat ramp. Sadly, this was the final voyage for him before he collected a check from a local attorney for $30,000 for the boat. The impressive vessel - capable of sleeping 12 people - and cruising at 32 knots with a 140 HP I/O will be forever lost. Let's hope we can still count him in for a vote for GW...
