extract President George W. Bush's increasingly erratic behavior and wide mood swings has the halls of the West Wing buzzing lately as aides privately express growing concern over their leader's state of mind. In meetings with top aides and administration officials, the President goes from quoting the Bible in one breath to obscene tantrums against the media, Democrats and others that he classifies as "enemies of the state." Worried White House aides paint a portrait of a man on the edge, increasingly wary of those who disagree with him and paranoid of a public that no longer trusts his policies in Iraq or at home. "It reminds me of the Nixon days," says a longtime GOP political consultant with contacts in the White House. "Everybody is an enemy; everybody is out to get him. That's the mood over there." .... The President's abrupt dismissal of CIA Directory George Tenet Wednesday night is, aides say, an example of how he works. "Tenet wanted to quit last year but the President got his back up and wouldn't hear of it," says an aide. "That would have been the opportune time to make a change, not in the middle of an election campaign but when the director challenged the President during the meeting Wednesday, the President cut him off by saying 'that's it George. I cannot abide disloyalty. I want your resignation and I want it now." Tenet was allowed to resign "voluntarily" and Bush informed his shocked staff of the decision Thursday morning. One aide says the President actually described the decision as "God's will." |

Bush's personal religious beliefs are scary enough; couple those with his bizarre behavior and we have a real problem, right here in River City. Comparing Bush to Nixon is an insult to the former president. As flawed as Nixon was, he was still a brilliant man. Bush is an idiot. |

I simply believe he suffered significant brain damage during his years of boozing and snorting. Bush does, however, have strange religious beliefs about the end of the world. He truly is hopeful of Armageddon in his lifetime, and apparently is doing whatever he can to hasten it. |

On only one occasion I picked up a little moire when photographing the house (aluminum siding) in bright sunshine. The 'kit' lens is an 18-70mm, and is very sharp. The reviews are great. I also purchased the 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor (go to: http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php...ductNr=2139NAS ) I use two 512 MB Lexar Media cards and the 'Jumpshot' usb downloading device. Never had a problem. Even being prior military, I was able to take the camera out of the box, use the 'quick' directions and take some pictures of pets, etc, that I thought were fantastic. I've made 8x10 blowups of cropped images that are spectacular in their clarity and sharpness. I use the Canon i960 printer for photos and get great results. Now, where are the croaker biting? Hey, he didn't start his question by calling me a dumbfoch, ass licking, BORGsuckin', lowlife military scumbag Republicass, good only for babysitting. John H You're not "good for babysitting". Anybody who'd let you babysit their children after knowing you have a penchant for child pornography would be crazy. |

His OCD is probably related to his FAS.

Now did you, or did you not SPECIFICALLY ask for pictures of "children in the biblical sense"? b'asskisser, you're sick. Get some help. I'm no psychiatrist, but the following from the "Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation" may be helpful. "In OCD [Obsessive-compulsive disorder], it is as though the brain gets stuck on a particular thought or urge and just can't let go. People with OCD often say the symptoms feel like a case of mental hiccups that won't go away. OCD is a medical brain disorder that causes problems in information processing. It is not your fault or the result of a "weak" or unstable personality." Good luck. John H On the 'Poco Loco' out of Deale, MD on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! |

John H Yes, John, I've already guessed that perhaps your obsession with child pornography might well be OCD related. Are you going to seek help? Perhaps we should contact the school system that you teach for, they might well give you the help you need. |
