Of course - at one time it had one of the only original wooden roller
coasters on the East Coast designed by some Italian guy - it is now a
jewish retirement complex. :)

On the South Shore, we used to hang out at Paragon Park in Hull. Located
on
Nantasket Beach, Paragon also had an old, rickety wooden roller coaster
that
was, for at least a while, the wildest ride in New England. My parents
forbade me to ride on the thing, so of course it was always the first ride
we headed for when arrived at the park.

I found some info on it:

Length: 4000'
Height: 98'
Drop: 88'
Inversions: 0
Speed: 53 mph
Duration: 1:52

When the park was closed, the coaster was dismantled and relocated at what
is now Six Flags America in Maryland. The coaster is still in operation.

Eisboch

Cedar Point...........the only place to go if you like roller coasters (wood
and tubular).
