I have a 1995 Chaparral with the Mercruiser/GM 5.7LX engine, and I can only
remove the outside plugs on each bank of cylinders; 1) Is it necessary to remove the exhaust manifold to get the other plugs out?? 2) The Mercruiser web site recommended spark plugs are one heat range higher than the one's that came from the factory- is that correct? 3) Also, I can't find any specs on the spark plug gap, any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
