Rasmussen Reports Another Drop for Dumbya.
"Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Tuesday September 20, 2005--Forty-four percent (44%) of American adults now approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That's just a single point above the lowest level recorded for Bush by Rasmussen Reports. "Conservatives are less than enthusiastic about the President's plan to spend $200 billion in federal money rebuilding New Orleans and surrounding areas." --------------------------------------------------------------------- He's trying to reach out to Democrats and independents, and eroding his own base in the process. The dumbest thing he can do is to actually give a **** about what the lefties thinks. Bipartisanism is dead...so why bother trying? For example, when Bush got together with Kennedy on the education initiative, Kennedy stabbed him in the back not too long after. It's a classic case of "you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't". He might as well just run with the mandate he got in Nov. '04 and govern strictly from the right...because that's what the majority of the country wants. |

Nah. Bush doesn't give a crap about Democrats, independents, or others not part of his base. He's now trying to show he "cares," but not many are going to believe that. But that's precisely the point. If you're going to be damned for not caring even when you do care, then why care at all? It's the public outrage that forced him to ask for the billions, not his empathy. Horsepoop. Billions were pledged before the storm even hit. |

\ If they weren't too embarrassed to say so, they'd probably wish that Bush would FOAD, or even resign. Bush is a total, complete, colossal failure as a POTUS, and the sad part is that it took this long for Boobus Americanus to find out. No where was it Krause, that you found your medical doctor wife?
