Default Boat fuel price update

Just had the boat topped off by the mobile marine fueling guys.

$3.399/gallon * 73.9 gallons=$251.19

It's about 5 cents less per gallon if you go to the marina to fuel up, but
these guys come to your house while you're at work and fill your boat in the
backyard.

I have visions of guys peeing into your fuel tank...

Naw. We don't have union guys down here.

I just paid $923 for a checkup and 7 filling for my son, so.....

Do you have fluoridated city water, or are you on a well?

Around here, gas at the pump is about $1.79 for mid-grade. If you can
afford to pay an extra $1.60 a gallon because you are to frigging lazy
to go to the pump, I'm ready to vote for socialized medicine.

$1.79!?!? I have to call BS on that one. Down here, regular unleaded is
$2.79 at the landlocked gas stations, and $3+ at any of the marinas.

Is anybody else paying under $2 for gas right now?

Not according to US Gov't energy statistics:

http://www.eia.doe.gov/oil_gas/petro...s_history.html

The average price for mid-grade gas in the lower Atlantic states was
$2.87/gallon on Sept. 19th.

BTW--it's not laziness. There are 2 marinas with fuel docks within 15 miles
of me. Both are over $3.25 gallon.

Damn, Gene, where are you getting pump gas at $1.79 per gallon (I
assume all US measurements). I want to come there. The best I can find
around Pittsburgh is $2.62.

Methinks Gene made a typo.

I thought so too...except for the fact that Gene then chastised me for
paying $1.60 more per gallon than him when I paid $3.39.

$3.39-$1.60=$1.79.
