Bert Robbins wrote in message ... Whose picture is on the Sam Adams bottles? Ya had to ask, huh? I just ran downstairs and grabbed a bottle. I see the picture, but I can't read the writing beside it (can't find my 1.50 diopter reading glasses). I *do* remember reading however, that Samuel Adams beer is of German origin. The people that started the microbrewery years ago used a reciepe transported to New England by a German brewmaster and found by his decendents in a trunk stored in an attic. Sounds good, anyway.
