Having my son in crew has turned out well. They all row and instead of
sitting around watching, I sail one of the MiniCups. I thought it
would be SO inconvenient having him do crew (rowing). Almost all of my
sailing in the past 10 yrs has been on salt water so being on a pretty
lake is really refreshing, a nice change. Our normal no-wind summer
pattern has been altered by having Ophelia way to the east bringing us
some nice NE wind.
Unfortunately, the kids get to laugh at my incompetence at backing the
trailer down the steep ramp but I am old enough to not care.
