Default Well ain't that just something?

Waddya know?!?! That heartless, ruthless, cut-throat, capitalistic, slimy,
sleazy, underhanded, abusive, lying, cheating oppressor of defenseless
working-class Americans - Wal-Mart - has donated $23 Million to Katrina
relief. [Actually $15M from WalMart and $8M from the Walton Family Trust.]
That's more than most nations of the world have pledged. WalMart has also
stated that any WalMart employee displaced by the storm is guaranteed a job
at the nearest WalMart to their resettlement point.

I agree, it's just cheap PR for them.

Naw. Cheap PR is Sean Penn buying a small boat without having a clue on how
to operate it (or to put the drain plug in before it is launched) and having
the boat sink while he was desperately trying to bail it out. And he
brought along his personal photographer to capture every minute of it.

Now *that* is cheap PR....priceless also. ;-)

As opposed to the very expensive PR of Bush's two photo-op trips? *If* it
wasn't Sean Penn, but just some regular guy, would you be as critical?
How about John Travolta? He flew in five tons of needed supplies. PR, or
just someone trying?

Did he have his photographers along?
