Good hurricane planning (even includes a boat)

A cajun friend of mine used to say that his family kept a saw in the
attic for cutting through the roof and a boat tied to the chimney in
case of storm surge. I thought he was just being colorful. It turns
out that he was telling the truth as that is exactly how his parents
were saved.
