I broke my two-piece wooden paddle a few weeks ago. I broke right in the
middle where the two halves connect. I'm trying to find a source for fibreglass or carbon-fiber paddle shafts (ie: no blades). I'm thinking that I could turn the existing shafts down on a lathe and insert/epoxy them into the shaft blank. Any idea where I could buy a two-piece (preferred) or one piece blank. Thanks. :-) |
