Repairing a Croakie?
I bought a Croakie float device for eyeglasses about a year ago. The wings of
the eyeglasses slip into the tubular ends of a 12" or so cord that goes from wing to wing. There's a float midway down the cord. One of the inserts for a wing has deteriorated. Any suggestions for repairing it? Maybe it's time to unstitch the cord (it's sort of like a cloth cord that has been rolled into a tube and sewn together), and see what they actually use inside. Whatever it is it didn't hold up too well. -- Wayne T. Watson (Watson Adventures, Prop., Nevada City, CA) (121.015 Deg. W, 39.262 Deg.
