So that's in salt water, correct? I generally advise against an I/O on any boat that stays in the water all the time, especially in salt water. It is really difficult to protect against the corrosion of the outdrives and they can be very expensive to replace a few years down the road. Plus this boat has A/C which appearantley runs off batteries I don't believe that the A/C would run off the batteries directly. It is possible that they have an inverter that would run the A/C but unless the battery bank is very large it just wouldn't be practical to use it that way. If the boat doesn't have a generator then you will be limited to using it at the dock. Rod |
