Default Ankle Blocks for Canoes

Whitewater Canoe Outfitting can be used for lake canoeing. The purpose of outfitting is to make you comfortable and connected to the canoe. Check out the whitewater canoe outfitting at this web site.

The boat pictured is a Dagger Ocoee with Mike Yee outfitting. The ankle blocks can help reduce pain in the ankles. I would also suggest sitting on a 10" high foam block for 30 minutues at a time in the living room simulating being in the canoe. It takes many trips in a whitewater canoe to become comfortable with being on bent knees and adjusting to your foot position.
