I have a very unusual boat I want to sell and I'm trying to figure out what
its worth.
I got it two years ago in a trade. Its a 1990 Glastron SX17 Sierra. What
is unusual about it is that it is virtually brand new. The owner bought it
in 1990. He only used it about two months and unfortunately didn't winterize
it correctly. The block cracked and although it runs, it is not repairable.
He left it in his garage for about 12 years and finally decided he wouldn't
ever fix it so I traded him an old truck for it. I have the Boat, trailer
and all the accessories. EVERYTHING is virtually new and almost perfect, it
just got a few small nicks from stuff in the garage being moved around it.
It has the 3.0 litre Mercruiser engine and an Alpha One drive.
I believe an engine from Jasper would be around $1800.
One would only need to see this to know its only been in the water a few
times. What would you think I could sell something like this for?
