I need another tire for my trailer. (ST205/75D14) I mostly boat in salt water and have to submerge the wheels where I launch. WestMarine only has tires on chrome wheels in stock. Will the chrome wheels last as long as galvanized in salt water boating? No. You want a galvanized wheel. And when you haul your boat at the end of the day, spend some time rinsing off your galvanized trailer. Do you know about the wheel bearings and hubs? |

Why do you need a wheel??? Most any tire shop can order and mount a
trailer tire on the rim you already have. Rich William G. Andersen wrote: I need another tire for my trailer. (ST205/75D14) I mostly boat in salt water and have to submerge the wheels where I launch.
