Default Mission accomplished

Thanks Doug...I have a Standard Horizon 460S VHF, an older Magellan 315 gps
and a Plasimo Iris 50 hand bearing compass. I was thinking of some kind of
depth sounder but was concerned about drilling through the hull. Does the
kind you hang off the stern work well? I guess on a slow moving sailboat (5
knots tops) it wouldn't be as big a problem as on a faster moving boat.
I probably would install a bulkhead type compass that lights up in the dark
(Saturn or Ritchie brand??)
Now I have to buy a battery. The boat didn't come with one but has a built
in shelf, hold-down strap and connection wires. My 6 hp yachtwin has a
charger.
