to get the boat align properly on the bunks Any boat loading tips? Sounds similar to my Thunderbird tri-hull. The bunks are horizontal and there's a couple of narrow flat places on the bottom of the hull that rest on them. Getting the right amount of water over the trailer seems to be key. Back it too far in and there's not enough weight resting on the bunks to keep the boat from getting swept off them by any current that's present. If I don't get it far enough in to winch all the way up on the first try, I just back up a little more and finish loading. |
