They haven't started yet up at Herring Bay (except for one well-known fisherman), but hopefully they'll be there in another week or so. Fifteen people on that Parker must have been a little crowded, but glad to hear everything went well! Did Harry said he used the Parker??? I'll have to go back to confirm that. I didn't say, and I didn't. Poor Herring. He's the Captain Queeg of Chesapeake Bay sportfishermen, I kid you not. Six hours of trolling and he comes home with one small keeper striper. Six hours. I'll bet he ran over his trolling lines, too. Harry, Harry...did I say I came home with 'one small keeper striper'? Apparently you don't know that the custom when fishing in the bay is to split up the fish? I suppose if you've spent your life on headboats you wouldn't realize that. Oh well, now you know. Speaking of strippers...er stripers, I hit a really nice blue fish yesterday - 14 lbs. Those fish are really fun on light tackle. |
