INAMAR Insurance has just included a "Windstorm Deductible." If your mooring location is on the Atlantic (including the Chesapeake Bay), Gulf of Mexico, or Pacific coast and you suffer any loss caused by wind, rain, wave, or hail as the result of either a Tropical Depression, Tropical Storm, Hurricane, or Nor'easter your deductible becomes either 3% of your insured amount, your deductible, or $1,000, whichever is greater....... no matter what the deductible would have been, otherwise. There is no mention of any significance of a named storm. You'd best hold that Grady down with chain that does't stretch, Gene. |
