Default Boat Insurance Heads-up....

INAMAR Insurance has just included a "Windstorm Deductible."

If your mooring location is on the Atlantic (including the Chesapeake
Bay), Gulf of Mexico, or Pacific coast and you suffer any loss caused
by wind, rain, wave, or hail as the result of either a Tropical
Depression, Tropical Storm, Hurricane, or Nor'easter your deductible
becomes either 3% of your insured amount, your deductible, or $1,000,
whichever is greater....... no matter what the deductible would have
been, otherwise.

There is no mention of any significance of a named storm.

You'd best hold that Grady down with chain that does't stretch, Gene.

No problem there! I've got 6 nylon lines tying me to the dock. I
wonder how much stretch there is in 6 feet of line? Hmmm... maybe
chain isn't that bad after all?

Perhaps our friend Jax is seeking a new mate who will unchain or chain him:

Don't tell me what it's all about
'Cause I've been there and I'm glad I'm out
Out of those chains those chains that bind you
That is why I'm here to remind you

What do you get when you give your heart
You get it all broken up and battered
That's what you get, a heart that's shattered
I'll never fall in love again
I'll never fall in love again

Jax with a broken heart?
