We have a 20' Crownline 205CCR that we want to trailer up to Door
County WI for the weekend (have family in Green Bay). We boat often on a large inland lake in Madison WI, but have never taken the boat to a large body of water like Green Bay. We're thinking about doing a day trip from Bayshore park up to the Fish Creek area and then back. Anybody done that kind of a trip with that size boat ? We have a fixed mount VHF radio on it and a GPS. Just wondering if there are any things we may not be aware of or may not have considered. Thanks for any advice. Jeff. |

You will be fine if you stay close to shore... lots of people even bring pontoon boats up there... really no problem... |

![]() What about water depth along that area ? We obviously have a depth finder on the boat, but I was wondering about shallow areas, rocks, etc. Thanks again for any advice. |

It can get over 120 feet fast... i didnt see any shallow areas... local shops have maps, get one and u should be fine... call ahead to some marinas, it can get pricey to stay docked over night... |

OK Thanks.
We won't be staying over. Just a run up, stop for lunch and stuff, and then run back down the same day. Hopefully can find a slip for a few hours somewhere there. |
