Default Summary report on fish kills in SF Shenandoah River, Virginia

Fish kills are continuing in both the North and South Forks of the
Shenandoah River in Virginia. A collection of agencies and groups has
been assembled to investigate the cause, which so far has been
elusive. The summary concentrates on the South Fork, the more
economically important of the two forks. There was a kill involving a
wide variety of fishes on the North Fork this year, but has not been
officially acknowledged by the state. See:
