Yet he was one of the most intelligent person (he knew advanced math and engineering - all self taught) I ever knew (and have known to this date). College teaches you 4 things: 1. Learning how to think. 2. Learning how to make the most out of your time. 3. Learning technical skills. 4. Learning how to fend for yourself and be able to interact with folks from all social strata's. Perhaps #4 should be #1. Some folks can learn those skills without having to go to college and can pick up on the technical data by reading books or working in the field. I applaud those folks. Some of the smartest people I have met never went to college, yet some of the dumbest people I have met have multiple college degrees. Go figure. Never, ever think any less of yourself for not having gone to college. The school of hard knocks is often the toughest school to complete. Back to this NG......you need to lay back and see more of the comings and goings of this NG before you start to form opinions of folks here. I can offer you some personal horror stories of one member here you seem to want to defend, including stories of stalking and threats. Partake and enjoy. We hope you stick around for a long time.
