Way to skip over the important point: al Qaeda was using Iraq as a safe-haven while plotting the attack...long before we even went into Iraq. Currently, members of Saddam's "Special Operations and Antiterrorism Branch" are working in conjuncton with al Zarqawi's al Qaeda unit to coordinate attacks against U.S. forces. I don't know what it will take to convince you that al Qaeda and Iraq had been working together for years. Evidence, not just claims. |
