Clinton testified before the independent panel on April 8 in a private,
unrecorded session. The commission plans to ask Bush about the conversation
when he and Vice President Richard Cheney meet with its members in a similar
closed setting, Time said.

Is this the same Clinton who was quoted as follows?

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to
develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That
is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We
want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass
destruction program."

Leave it to a right-winger to get it all wrong.

This is the same Clinton that went through the impeachment process because
he knew in the end he would be found innocent. (As in not guilty, the
finding returned by the US Senate)

The same Clinton that made the mistake of allowing a younger woman to do
things to him at a vulnerable time in his life. (Only to later find that the
woman was setting him up for the right wing, after all, why else would she
have given the dress to her mother instead of having it cleaned)

The same Clinton, that yes did cheat on his wife, but that is no concern to
you or anyone else other that President Clinton, Senator Clinton and their
daughter Chelsea

The same Clinton that never Inhaled, so yes you can say he never exhaled.

Pity you can't see the truth due to the whitewash over your eyes

Ya,, truth,,,
Come on,,,,,, Give your head a shake,,,

Do you remember the statement "' I did not have sex with this woman, Miss
Lowinski"" ??/ Do you remember that statement? Wasn't that a lie? I mean
shoving a cigar up some womans ass and having her blow him,,, then your
president saying that?? under oath!!!!

Come on,,, if he would lie to the closest person to him, his wife, then what
other lies did he also have.

So lets look at what you said,,,,

'''''Leave it to a right-winger to get it all wrong."'''"

I dont know about that,,, I suggested Clinton lied,, you were the one who
started spinning and stick handling around the issue.

'''''This is the same Clinton that went through the impeachment process
because
he knew in the end he would be found innocent. (As in not guilty, the
finding returned by the US Senate)'"'''

Ya,,, some president,, having to go through all that and humiliating the
U.S. globally. The only reason he is popular or was elected is because he
has blonde hair and blue eyes. The only reason... Ignorance of the voters.

"""''The same Clinton, that yes did cheat on his wife, but that is no
concern to
you or anyone else other that President Clinton, Senator Clinton and their
daughter Chelsea'"''"'

Ya,,, he lied to the American people,, under oath,,, and you think that was
only targeted towards his family. He is the leader of the country, and lies.
no comment (and that is not like me)......

"''''The same Clinton that never Inhaled, so yes you can say he never
exhaled."'''"

Ya,,, he smoked drugs and never inhaled them,, and you believed him??/ Like
I said earlier,,, the ignorance of the voters....

"''''Pity you can't see the truth due to the whitewash over your eyes"''''

What truth? I have whitewash over my eyes? He didn't fool me,, aint no
whitewash over my eyes,, maybe yours. I didn't vote for him. Of course I am
not American. I cannot believe though that you defend him to the degree you
did and make yourself look like such a fool.......

white wash,,,,,,, GYHAS

I think that you have it wrong. Clinton was found "guilty" of lying to a
Federal judge and that is called impeachment and is performed by the House
of Representatives. However, the Senate did not believe that the crime
Clinton committed warranted removal from office.

Try to spin Clinton's sexaul misdeeds, to put it very lightly, anyway you
want the evidence is there that he did the things he was accused of doing.

Sadly, at the moment, we cannot impeach Bush for his horrific lies to
the American people because the Republ-thugs control the House. I'd love
to see the jerk twist a bit in the wind when the details of the
Bush-Bandar meetings come out.

No,, Bush hasn't done anything unethical to justify impeachment process,
otherwise your opposition would be jamming impeachment into every newspapers
and news media. Clinton did.
Clinton was selfishly satisfying himself that caused his impeachment
problems, Bush is presently taking the long term meaning of peace for the
world in his daily doings. Not hiding around the house sneaking off with
students half his age, then lying about it.
So who can you really trust anyway? I do not see any hidden agendas behind
Bush's push to rid the world of terrorism. I mean in his shoes now, I
wouldn't give a **** what you say about me,,, if I can save millions of
lives because I have the power to. LOL,,, Wow,, I would do exactly what he
is doing and use all my powers to eradicate the world of these killers who
want to kill all Christians and Americans, and who already have been
successful in starting their objective, Bush would be thought of more of a
hero in 10 years time from now if this mission picks up and is successful.
If he listens to you people, he will go down in history as a president who
didn't react or no backbone, or did nothing to eradicate terrorism......
Why do you people want to leave terrorism alone anyway? Why are you not
supporting Bush's attack on terrorism? There is no excuse why your not, the
world should be in the coalition forces.
Hey,,, I am not an American but am a Christian,,, I hope Bush gets to them
killers before they get to me.......... or anyone else for that matter,,,Why
you wouldn't one will never know,,,,,,,

How the hell would you know? You're five cans short of a six pack.

April 20th 04 01:34 AM

Clinton Told Bush That Bin Laden Top Security Threat

No Bert, you have it wrong.

Congress (the house of representatives) holds hearing to see if there are
grounds for impeachment. If they feel there is, they draw up Articles of
Impeachment which are then forwarded to the Senate for an impeachment trial.

Bill Clinton was charged, and found innocent in trial.

It grieves me to think all these people will talk the talk, but I can prove
them wrong in less than 3 minutes.

http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa091898.htm
The Impeachment Process
In the House of Representatives:

1.. The House Judiciary Committee decides whether or not to proceed with
impeachment. If they do...
2.. The Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Il) will
propose a Resolution calling for the Judiciary Committee to begin a formal
inquiry into the issue of impeachment.
3.. Based on their inquiry, the Judiciary Committee will send another
Resolution to the full House stating that impeachment is warranted and why
(the Articles of Impeachment), or that impeachment is not called for.
4.. The Full House (probably operating under special floor rules set by
the Rules Committee) will debate and vote on each Article of Impeachment.
5.. Should any one of the Articles of Impeachment be approved by a simple
majority vote, the President will be "impeached." However, being impeached
is sort of like being indicted of a crime. There still has to be a trial,
which is where the US Senate comes in.
In the Senate:

1.. The Articles of Impeachment are received from the House.
2.. The Senate formulates rules and procedures for holding a trial.
3.. A trial will be held. The President will be represented by his
lawyers. A select group of House members will serve as "prosecutors." The
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will preside with all 100 Senators acting
as the jury.
4.. The Senate will meet in private session to debate a verdict.
5.. The Senate, in open session, will vote on a verdict. A 2/3 vote of the
Senate will result in a conviction.
6.. The Senate will vote to remove the President from office.
7.. The Senate may also vote (by a simple majority) to prohibit the
President from holding any public office in the future.
