Remember back in the fifties, how the radio would play the latest hit song
over and over and over, like 10 times an hour or more? A song would
skyrocket to number one, stay for a short while, then fall off the edge of
the world. Everyone would be sick of it, except the whack jobs who had no
other life.

John, I think you are wrong on anyone giving Harry marching orders, why
would the DNC want to alienate so many potential votes for their ticket.
Anyone in rec.boats who is on the fence, will quickly get pushed to the
Republican Party by his message of hate. It is possible that he works for
the Republican National Committee and is trying to steer the moderates over
to the Republican Ticket.

6 Marines, scores of Iraqis killed in fierce battle

BY RON HARRIS

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

HUSAYBAH, Iraq - (KRT) - Six Marines were killed and scores of insurgent
Iraqis slain in a fierce 14-hour battle Saturday between Marines and
mujahedeen fighters who slipped into this town near the Syrian border.

According to Marines, an estimated 300 Iraqis from Fallujah and Ramadi
launched an assault against the Americans in Husaybah around 8 a.m.
local time, beginning with a roadside bombing and a flurry of 24 mortars.

When Marines responded to the bombing, they were met with small-arms and
machine-gun fire as they neared a former Baath Party headquarters.

Marines responding to the call for help were mortared and strafed as
they made their way into the city. Additional Marines then joined in the
fight.

No, those soldiers died so your dumb-assed, cowboy president could get
re-elected and make more money for his rich friends. Let's get real
about this war.

Seems that Pres. Bush was smart enough to get elected President of the

U.S.
of A. What have you done lately?

He was appointed, not elected.
