Bill, you can't be making stuff up and hope to keep any credibility. I'm no Kerry fan, but let's stick to facts. The facts are that Kerry applied for and received three Purple Hearts in less than four months, in a duty assignment and location where awards of any kind were considered somewhat unusual by small boat commanders who were there at the time. According to available records, he spent no time in a hospital for any of these three wounds. He also received two awards for valor in combat. He then applied for early rotation based upon these accumulated awards. Did he cook the books to get out early? I don't know. Have the full military and medical records been released? |
