Out of curiosity, I typed in "Harry Krause imaginary boat" and it appears
that this is not the first boat Harry has made up. Their were posts going back to 1999. It was hard to figure out all the details, and I really didn't want to spend any time on it, but it appears that he said he had a T1 modem on his boat, and that is how he was able to make so many posts to rec.boats. You do have to admire his determination to stick to a story no matter how outrageous it is. "John H" wrote in message ... You forgot to look up the definition of schnapps. No, I didn't. Please see below. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. No question is too stupid! From this site: http://www.physics.uq.edu.au/people/...iskeymore.html What is whiskey? Whiskey is a barrel-aged distilled spirit made from grain or malt. It differs from other types of grain alcohol in that it absorbs colour and flavour from the barrels during aging, it retains more flavour from the fermented mash by being distilled at a lower proof and being less thoroughly filtered. As a result, it is much more flavoursome than vodka. Unlike gin and akvavit, it doesn't have other flavourings added. And from this website: http://www.webtender.com/db/ingred/125 Schnapps -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Generic name for a flavorful alcoholic beverage made from grain or potato spirits, and flavored with various herbs or fruits. Schnapps can range from sweet, like a liqueur, to dry as an infused vodka. Denmark and Germany produce the majority of schnapps |

Basskisser,
Do you know how to read? The very first sentence in your definition is: "Whiskey is a barrel-aged distilled spirit made from grain or malt." Schnapps is not barrel-aged, and by your own definition is not a Whiskey. We will ignore the fact that the vast majority of Schnapps is made from potatoes. While you can use grain alcohol instead, it still does not qualify as a whiskey, because it is not barrel aged. Keep up the good work, your record is still intact, wrong again. PS It does seem like you learn a lot from Harry, I see you even copy his technique of using sock puppets and having conversations with yourself. "basskisser" wrote in message om... The best part about Basskisser's argument is the definition he provided told him why Schnapps is not a whiskey, but he must have been too stoned to be able to read it. No proof yet. Schapps is not whiskey, and may not be cheap. Next try at a proof? First place, it's Schnapps, both you, and Henry spelled it wrong. Second, Schnapps IS made from grain alcohol, or....whiskey. Cut and paste for the spelling. Grain Alky is not necessarily whiskey. |

Henry, don't put yourself on 'asskissers level. He is most often not worthy of reading, let alone relying to. The NG members know where 'asskisser stands on the food chain......lower than squid **** on the bottom of the deepest section of the ocean. Don't let him get you caught up in his idiotic posts....it is not worth the time. ;-) Heehee!! I love it! You post some purely ignorant crap like THAT, then close by using the words "idiotic posts"!!!!!!! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!!!!! |

After all, YOU are one of the ones who post wild, unfounded allegations as truth. When you do that, you are in fact, being quite idiotic. |

I know you have a hard time following any thought process so I will try to
be very basic. When you said "That is the pot (Jim--) calling the kettle (BK) black, you are acknowledging that you are black (i.e. idiotic) but so is Jim-- black (i.e. idiotic). The expression means that while he is correct with his assertion, he is guilty of exactly what he is criticizing you for. I noticed that you have a hard time understanding the very simple cut and paste you use to prove your unfounded beliefs (i.e. Schnapps) and understanding the expressions you use (i.e. pot, kettle, black) I don't know what type of engineering you practice, but I hope it does not involve building anything or designing anything that would be a safety concern to the public. Did you ever design a Holiday Inn in Kansas or a bridge in Washington State? "basskisser" wrote in message om... "John Smith" wrote in message news:GETgc.172202$JO3.100430@attbi_s04... Funny I distinctly remember him knocking GWB's wife for being too fat for his taste. LOL. Didn't he say that Hillary C. was more to his liking shape-wise? If you had to pick a celebrity that Harry K. most looked like who would it be? Does he have all his hair? LOL, this is interesting stuff although I risk destroying the very unflattering image that I have in my mind for him. John H On the 'Poco Loco' out of Deale, MD on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! |
