Default Thundercraft Playmate v142 / Glastron Skiflite v142

Hello,
Anyone who has any photos of their Thundercraft / Glastron - Playmate / Skiflite v142, please send them my way.. I am creating a history / resource page for these awesome little boats and would like to include as much information as possible. the idea is to create an "owner's club" kind of web site for people to share info and discuss their boats.

I am also looking for historical information - I know that Glastron and Thundercraft both produced very similar boats from what looks like the same mold. if anyone has any info and who originally made the mold, and who might still have the mold, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you.

please send your images and info to

thank you,
Matt

Interesting... Have you looked at the Classic Glastron Owner's
Association yet? They've got some really knowledgeable folks on their
message board. http://www.classicglastron.com

I've got a few blurry shots of my '66 Skiflite up at
http://galmgren.home.comcast.net/glastron, though I haven't added
anything new in a *long* time. (Hmmm... Maybe it's time to sort through
my unsorted vacation pictures...) If you would like to use any of them,
just give me credit.

Keep us updated; I'd be really interested in seeing your page when it is
ready.

Yeah, I've been to the classic Glastron page, but haven't asked any questions there yet. just browsed...

thanks for your info and photos, Garth. I see you call yours "Blue-Boat". my original was called "The Yellow Boat", and is currently a work in progress.

Garth, nice work on the transom!

I'm about to do the same, as well as give the boat new stringers and a floor...

I have a bunch of photos of the removal... if you are interested...

Matt
