As it apparently isn't noted or appreciated, I won't repeat that mistake again. It may be tough for some of you to understand or accept- but there's a whole great big bunch of the world that just simply ignores a major portion of what certain people post. Lack of comment often indicates a lack of interest. Your attempts at fairness are transparent. If you were a true equal oppourtunity caller you would immediately call the "Progressives" and not have to be prompted to do so. |

Sure, Chuck posts using his _real_name_ in his e-mail address so that
he can (Drumroll please!) hide his identity. Sheesh. ********** Garth, never mind. You'll only confuse them. :-) |

I have recently spoken up for JimH after Harry blasted him, and have
done so for you in the past as well. As it apparently isn't noted or appreciated, I won't repeat that mistake again. Why? Are you now going to condone his behavior here? ************* Of course not. It probably escaped your notice, but I address and respond to Harry Krause less than almost any active poster in the group. Of course that may be due to the fact that most posts to and from Harry involve name flaming and naming- and almost nothing more. (Name calling is a crutch for folks unable to be insult more creatively, just as personal attack is the crutch of people hopelessly outgunned in debate). There are tpical Krause threads with 45 posts; Harry has 22 of them, and about three guys (sometimes including you) have six or seven apiece. Most will be scathing personal remarks, with the Krause Klub getting back about as good as they dish out. There are even a bunch of folks here that never comment about boats, at all, but never fail to wade into a good old fashioned Krause fight. Nobody even knows or cares who started it, way back when. (Easily could have been Harry, he has that sort of tendency). Condone is behavior? I think not, and excessive piling on is a sport enjoyed by a very specific portion of this group. I don't side with Harry, the vast majority of the time. Harry is a big boy, he causes his own trouble, and he can look out for himself. As I said, lack of comment more often indicates lack of interest than agreement. |

Your attempts at fairness are transparent.
If you were a true equal oppourtunity caller you would immediately call the "Progressives" and not have to be prompted to do so. ********** It's not my job to be "fair". If I were fair, I'd be the only guy in sight (with any sort of definite opinion) who was. Most of the time that I'm bitching about the tactics of the right wing is when they are lobbing crap at me, personally. I seldom comment about something one person posted about another, if I'm not involved. When I have done so, I have blasted Harry Krause about as often as anybody else. I don't claim to be fair, but to say that I never criticize Harry Krause is a blatant falsehood. It seemed to ring especially hollow coming from a couple of guys for whom I have (on a few occassions) spoken up in the past. |
