"Forced to land" for an overnight in Atlantic City? Hah!! Reminds me of
when I was in the AF in Colorado. AF/Navy/Marine training flights would use
Buckley ANGB as a destination. Amazing how many of those suffered
mechanical problems on late Friday afternoons in the winter -- and just
happened to have skis and other accoutrements tucked away somewhere on the
airplane! :-)

The pom-poms Hert likes to play with are between the sailors' belly
buttons and knees.

Did any of you two spend any time in the military? Just curious.

Ted

A lot of us spent time in the military. We don't brag about it much.
Harry is
anti-military, but since you're relatively new and liberal, he'll suck
up to you
for a while. You'd be better off putting down the military every chance
you get
if you want to stay in his good graces.

I'm anti-military *establishment." That's NOT the same as being
anti-military. I don't trust "the Pentagon."

Then why do you take swipes at soldiers, airmen, and sailors every time
you get
a chance.

Who are you trying to con, Harry?

How did my name get involved in this? Do Krause and White have some sort of
JimH infatuation? It looks like it.

Lock up the young boys.

Why, is Michael Jackson in the Navy?

Man, warn somebody if you are going to come up with a snap like that!

Damn that was funny. :)

Is this the same French Navy that got a handful of thier fighters stuck
in NJ last week?

Heard a report about a couple of French fighters and a weather plane
from a carrier in the area being forced to land at an NJ airport
because they ran low on fuel. Seems they couldn't make it back to the
ship because of bad weather. (Makes you wonder what the weather plane
was doing.)

One of the pilots tried to buy fuel with a credit card... but he was
over his limit or something.

I know military pilots that used to keep their flying hours up by making
trips up to Pease Airforce Base in NH, just a few miles from the lobstoer
vendors.

The only Army guy I associate with is my cousin, a Major, getting ready to
go to Iraq and the father of the kid across the street from my mother's
house. The son did the right thing and went USMC OCS.
