I took an ad from a boat trading magazine into the marina. They met the price in the ad, and I went with the Mercruiser brand. I didn't go with ceramic coating. If the old ones lasted you nine + years, why change? Will you own the boat with the same engine for nine more years? Mercruiser exhaust parts are finished better, and coated better(ceramic)
than aftermarket. Prices are very competative too. JIMinFL "ToneJohn" wrote in message ... If your exhaust manifold couples to an elbow, then apparently a riser is not part of your system. Why would you think you need one? -- John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD "Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it." Why consider something because of a three year warranty? -- John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD "Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it."
