Default New ? - Where to buy Exhaust Manifold & Elbows

New question

Any suggestions on where to pickup a exhaust manifold and elbow? any
internet sites? recommendations? Cast iron is what i have now, i saw a
site:

that have ceramic, what are the +s and -s...

I took an ad from a boat trading magazine into the marina. They met the price in
the ad, and I went with the Mercruiser brand. I didn't go with ceramic coating.
If the old ones lasted you nine + years, why change? Will you own the boat with
the same engine for nine more years?

I couldn't get Chuck's URL to work.

Mercruiser exhaust parts are finished better, and coated better(ceramic)
than aftermarket. Prices are very competative too.

Have you guys ever heard of GLM Marine? They are cast iron w/ three year
warranty... www.glmmarine.com

one more question, I don't have a riser kit on my setup does it pay to have
one when i install the new elbow and manifold... and i checked that site out
it's www.b-jmarinemanifolds.com awaiting a quote..

If your exhaust manifold couples to an elbow, then apparently a riser is not
part of your system. Why would you think you need one?

You got nine years out of the Mercruiser parts. Why consider something because
of a three year warranty?

only becuase in all the mercruiser diagrams and manuals they show "optional"
riser...
