In article 0rkoe.1719$gO1.212@okepread06,
says...
I took my boat to the lake yesterday for the first time this year and it
cranked right up, when I gave it full throttle, I got high RPM's but no
speed, we were only doing about 5 mph. It worked fine last year before I
put it up.
It is a 2002 Mercury 90 HP.
Any help would be appreciated.
So, your engine is turning at around 5K and you are only doing 5MPH.
If you had a clutch, which I you don't, it could be slipping
That pretty much leaves the Prop more or less free wheeling or something
really strange going on in the lower unit.
