"The Sunnis and the Shiites, the Kurds and all the various tribes can work
out accommodations that will allow them to build a stable society, I think
that will be good for Iraq and good for the Middle East," Clinton said at
the end of a two-day visit to Denmark.
In January, Iraq held the its first democratic parliamentary elections to
choose a 275-member National Assembly and provincial legislatures.

"There is no point living in the past," Clinton said. "Look at where we are
now. Everyone, all freedom-loving people would be better off with a
genuinely representative, effective, free government in Iraq whatever your
feelings are about what went on before."

NOYB won't come remotely close to getting it, Doug. Because Clinton
said the above, NOYB's brain instantly translates that into *Clinton
said that any and everything Bush has done with regards to Iraq is
great*. Must be terrible to be so in love with GWB and the republican
party, but also knowing they've failed miserably, that you must resort
to remarks made by someone who they've shown pure disdain for.

Don't forget...
Hillary is actually very good for the Republican party. She's almost
personally responsible for the Republican majority that took over the House
and Senate in 1994.

think and then sink the sob with legimate arguements. anyway, this is
not or should not be a forum for good words used in a mediocre manner.

tigerregis May 19th 05 03:39 AM

well, I am new to this game and really don't know the rules, if there
are any. what I do like is debate between positions that are based on
reality, not on what people "think", anyone can have a position on
anything, however one cannot defend or posit anything that has no
basis in fact

Maybe you could spend a few minutes learning how to operate ALL the features
of your news reader. You should only be seeing ONE message from each
thread - the original post, unless you CHOOSE to expand it. So, if you can't
"not look" at things you don't want to see, whose problem is it? That's a
basic human skill.

So...back to your news reader: I'm sure you can borrow an 8 year old kid to

Doug:

I'm sure you can tell by the "anonymous poster's" tone, content and
headers that he's just one of the ugly right-wing morons that descended
upon this newsgroup with the intent of doing as much damage as possible.
What other reason would he have for posting 40 or 50 of these foul
messages here a day, and then cross-posting them to another newsgroup?

It's just another symptom of the "Smithers" syndrome that has plagued us
for several months: multiple anonymous posts, posters using dozens of
handles, postings using the IDs of other posters...the sort of juvenile
crap you see in the seventh grade.

Just ignore him, Doug. He's just hoping someone will play with him. You
did today, but few others do, and the fewer that do, the better for all.

Harry, why take a swipe at anyone who doesn't agree with your politics? He
