Default Interchange 120 hp w/ 125 hp Force

I have a '90 Force L-Drive with a 120 hp engine. Blew #3 cylinder. I
have an opportunity to get an '87 Force 125 hp outboard powerhead at a
reasonable price.

Question: Will the 125 hp powerhead fit onto the same mount in the
boat and will it hook up just like the 120 hp engine?

Also, will the flywheel and sensor unit from a 125 hp outboard
interchange with a 120 hp L-Drive?

TIA

Here is an idea. Buy the parts book and service book for both engines and
compare part numbers and fit.

You might be able to get by with just the parts books to determine if ti
will work. Then buy the service manuals to learn how to do the work if it
will work out.
