I think the points being made, that I certainly don't see OP
acknowledging a

get a survey NOW. Survey now could (will?) discover enough defects to
make the case for refund and/or total hull replacement. It might have
been good to get a survey to begin with, but it is definitely a good
idea to get a survey now - dont' skimp on this.

HIRE a lawyer. Don't "get a friend" to do it. Hire a lawyer in the
business, with experience and a good reputation, for dealing with
product defect issues. The lawyer, not you, should be making all
contacts including letters. The PAID lawyer will be able to use the
information provided by PAID surveyer to achieve your goal.

OP, in my opinion, is not following a thorough and aggressive strategy
- at least what I've heard so far. Just MHO, of course, and I do wish
good luck to OP.

I bought a new boat last year. I have not even had it a year. A couple
months into ownership, small cracks began to form where the deck meets
the sides. There were some other cracks throughout the hull, mostly on
curved egdes. Not really bad but cracks nonetheless on a new boat.

I own over 30 boats. Sometimes they crack, you will have to deal with
it.

Do you want to see pictures of my driveway?
