Default Using mixed fuel in autos.

Buckeyered wrote in message . ..
I have about 30 gallons of fuel I mixed for my outboard that I no
longer have and I was wondering if it is safe to use it in my car,
I mixed it two years ago and added the required amount of Stabil at
the same time.

Thanks

Go for it. I put 6 gals or more of 50:1 fuel in my car an the end of
the season all the time. With the 10 or so gals of fuel already in
there the ratio of oil is nil. wait for your car to get half a tank
and top off with your mixed fuel. Even at 50:1 in 10 gals of fuel
thats 25.6 oz of oil. with 10 gals of plain fuel already in there then
it is 12.8oz of oil. a very small amout. My car does not run any
different with 2 cycle oil in the fuel. it does not even smoke.
