Dreaming of Virgins

Opened my mail this morning and was delighted to see my copy of the
2003/2004 Cruising Guide to the Virgin Islands had arrived. Timing couldn't
be better, as we are suffering another Nor' Easter dumping snow on the
province.
I have an invitation to drop down to the British Virgin Islands while my
friend is looking after a of a trio of 62' Dynamique sailing yachts.
These boats are for sale at $260k US each if anyone is interested.
For now. I'll study the guide and put together my dream cruise...preparing
fro the real thing.

Visionaries? They want the world to be something in their image. I think
Harry just wants money, and he gets it spinning the very liberal angle. Is
Bin Laden a visionary under your definition? He wants change in the world,
and his feelings are his vision is the best!

Yeah, you know, the republicans certainly don't want anyone who can

First of all..this thread was about my dream of cruising the Virgin Islands.
Are you so infatuated with Harry and Basskisser that you have to bring them

What would your sergeant think of that? He'd probably recommend you for a

Unless you have first hand knowledge, all you can judge people on in this

You have to give people the benefit of the doubt.
On the other hand I wouldn't bet my pension cheque on much I read here. Too

Did you make a few assumptions there, b'asskisser? Aren't you the one
usually asking for proof positive and full research before accepting
an assumption.

Do I know *all* about Harry? No. I don't, for example, know what his
lobster boat looks like. Can you find names, other than highly
complimentary, that I've called Harry?

Can I find fault with Harry? You bet. Harry, like you, has a penchant

What assumption did I make, John? You have stated above, in response
to someone saying you can't judge someone by what they right in a
newsgroup, that you've met him. So what? I've met many, many people,
and I certainly couldn't, or wouldn't judge them just because I've met

I'm certainly glad to hear that you think of yourself as that high and

order to judge someone, you need to know a tad more about them, than
what they write in a newsgroup.

Unless you have first hand knowledge, all you can judge people on in this
group is what they write.
You have to give people the benefit of the doubt.
On the other hand I wouldn't bet my pension cheque on much I read here. Too
many people trolling just to agitate
others.

I've met him.

John H

So, you think that because you've "met him", that you know all about
him, and can therefore judge him???? That's pretty shallow.

Did you make a few assumptions there, b'asskisser? Aren't you the one
usually asking for proof positive and full research before accepting
an assumption.

What assumption did I make, John? You have stated above, in response
to someone saying you can't judge someone by what they right in a
newsgroup, that you've met him. So what? I've met many, many people,
and I certainly couldn't, or wouldn't judge them just because I've met
them. You on the other hand, certainly aren't above judging someone
based entirely on this newsgroup.

Do I know *all* about Harry? No. I don't, for example, know what his
lobster boat looks like. Can you find names, other than highly
complimentary, that I've called Harry?

Where did I say you called him names, John? Are you losing it again?

Can I find fault with Harry? You bet. Harry, like you, has a penchant
for calling names and speaking ill of people. That's judgement enough
for my purposes.

I'm certainly glad to hear that you think of yourself as that high and
mighty, that you can judge people. Most people understand that in
order to judge someone, you need to know a tad more about them, than
what they write in a newsgroup.

I'm glad you're glad.

John H

So you are saying that you DO think of yourself as high and mighty,
and you DO think you can judge someone's character by what they write
in a newsgroup? If that were true, then YOU would certainly have a lot
of people (most, in fact) thinking you were a conceited blow hard.

Whatever turns you on, b'asskisser.

John H

Yes, as usual. Nothing to say, but you say it anyway!

It might be best to just say "STFU" to basskisser and leave it at that. I have
him filtered, so I don't have to deal with his nonsense.

Butch Ammon

Ah, I see. You ACT like you've got the balls to tell me to "STFU",
when in fact, you hide your little ass behind a filter.

Once again. As you usually do, when you start losing a debate, you
start slinging crap. AND, I'd LOVE to see you try and make me STFU.
You've once again proven yourself nothing short of a blowhard dolt.
