In article ,
says...

51% believes Bush means what he says

This simply means he believes what his handlers tell him to say.

33% believe Kerry.

Means that he's smart enough to know he's telling people what they want
to hear.

You're a deeply twisted individual...

If the poll's results were the other way around and the Times published
them, would you say its editors DID NOT see the writing on the wall?

You do understand my question, right?

New York Times/CBS News poll

Speaking With Integrity

Most of the time, Bush says what he:
Believes 51%
Thinks people want to hear 45%

Most of the time, Kerry says what he:
Believes 33%
Thinks people want to hear 57%

--------------------------------------------------

And Kerry plans on running on the issue of Bush's lack credibility and
honesty?

Oh, the effrontery!

If a Foxnews reported on a story with a positive message about a liberal,
there's a high likelihood that the story is true. If Foxnews reported on a
story with a negative spin towards a liberal, then the story may or may not
be accurate.

The same scenario applies to the NY Times and stories about conservatives.

You do understand my statement, right?

Yes. The Times published poll results. It has nothing to do with who "saw
the writing on the wall". If they publish a story about a train wreck, does
it mean the bulk of the staff believes trains are unsafe?

Depends upon the wording in the story. Journalism isn't objective any more.
If a train wrecked, and the journalist who reported on the wreck had a bias
against train travel, the headline would read: "Supposedly Safe? Recent
Train Collision Shows the Dangers of Rail Travel".
