![]() My first thought is that maybe you could work a deal with someone who has a similar boat that they trailer to the lake.... You have a boat in the water, presumably in a slip. You want your boat out and on the hard for a couple of days. Someone else would have a similar boat that they keep on a trailer, and they would want the boat in the water a couple of days. Make a trade! Let them use your slip while you use their trailer. I might also try hanging around the launch ramp until a similar boat was launching, then try to make a deal with the guy. If he wasn't interested in overnight, he might be willing to let your boat sit on his trailer while he was out on the lake. You could also try going to the dealer where you bought the boat and see if they might be able to do something about renting you a trailer. A lot of people who keep their boats in the water have a trailer that is rusting away some place. If there are any other boats like yours in the marina try contacting the owners and see if they have trailer you could use. Rod |
